About Us

FibreWiFi is a Next Generation Wireless Internet Service provided by Buzcom, a communications company based in Chelmsford, Essex.

The company delivers Super Fast and Ultra Fast broadband connections across Essex and the South East of England without the need for telephone lines and instead uses state of the art radio’s to deliver the service to customers.

Early in 2010 Essex County Council launched a competitive tender in order to choose a company to deliver high speed internet throughout Maldon District and after an exhaustive process chose Buzcom’s innovative FibreWiFi solution.

The success of the Maldon scheme did not go unnoticed and Uttlesford District Council introduced a similar scheme in the Autumn of 2011.

Recently the company has been awarded a contract by Epping Forest Council to supply a disaster recovery solution and district wide Radio Broadband coverage to the area.

The company continues to expand and will launch it's service into Suffolk during 2012.
