About Lawyers Online


Lawyers Online was originally started in 1998 by a firm of solicitors who specialised in class action law suites and felt that there should be a better way for lawyers to share large volumes of information. As improving communication between solicitors was, and still is, the main driving force, we focused on secure reliable email and internet connectivity solutions.

In the late 90s the Internet bubble burst, yet Lawyers Online continued to grow. Just before the decline of dialup, we had over 1500 dialup accounts and were one of the first companies to start offering Broadband in the UK. In 2006 through a wholesale partnerships we started to offer 24 Mbps ADSL 2+ Broadband before BT was able to roll the technology out to it's own network. In 2008/2009 we started to offer 24 Mbps over the new BT 21CN network, which is still being rolled out across the UK. Today, Lawyers Online is still at the forefront, having started to offer 40 Mbps services utilizing Fibre To The Cabinet (FTTC) technology.

Over 10 years after the company was started we're still a small provider dedicated to providing solutions based upon the principles of quality, reliability and security to our clients, whether they're in the legal profession or not. We have a no call queuing policy so that when you call our support team a real human being answers the phone, or in the worst case scenario our voice mail system will ask you for your contact information so that we may call you back promptly.

In 2010 we launched our alternative brand, Intraspace , in order to serve the needs of our non-legal client base.
