When the business was established as CompuConnection, its focus was on designing computers and networks for the small to medium size businesses. In 1995, as the Internet became more widely used, the MHO brand was launched to facilitate this phenomenon. With the company's expertise in Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and the anatomy of computers, MHO easily adapted and excelled as an Internet Service Provider (ISP).

As a service provider, MHO's goal was to provide customers with faster install times, unmatched scalability, and complete path redundancy. To accomplish this, MHO would have to have full control of the network, end-to-end. However, this was not something that could be fulfilled with the traditional terrestrial infrastructure, MHO took the next step and decided to go wireless.

MHO began building our backbone infrastructure with 100% Carrier Class point-to-point wireless microwave equipment to provide wireless, high speed broadband services in late 1997. Today with total control of a fully meshed wireless Ethernet network and Multiple Label Switching (MPLS) Core, MHO provides a wide range of services to government agencies and medium to large enterprise clientele, offering Dedicated Internet connections from 10Mbps up to 4Gbps and Metro Ethernet Services from 10Mbps up to 1Gbps.
